美國數學檢定競賽，英文名為 “American Mathematics Competitions”，簡稱『AMC』。由美國數學協會(Mathematical Association of America，簡稱MAA)舉辦。美國數學協會藉由AMC數學檢定來發掘『下一代青年藉由數理來解決問題的菁英(The mathematical capabilities of the next generation of problem-solvers)』。美國數學協會的AMC檢定學程，正向刺激學生的數理及邏輯分析能力，在科技以及職涯生態極力要求變革的時代，需要這些青年菁英來領導未來。
